To Whom it May Concern, I have used the Georgetown Airport for many years now and have been flying since 1965. You should know that the services provided by Steve and Trish are impressive and rank very high when compared to the services available throughout the western United States at other airports. It is becoming extremely rare to find operations that are in tune with the needs of general aviation. The operators you have are capable of making their guests feel at home, of performing maintenance at a reasonable cost, and of bringing repeat business to Georgetown. Our club has been hosted by Steve and Trish since 1995 and have made us steadfast in our decision to hold our event at Georgetown year after year. I urge you to rethink your decision. I can tell you from experience that you will search long and hard to find someone that can provide the experience that these operators have. From what I have seen, all that Steve and Trish need is better support from the local government. The aviation business is a difficult one. Particularly since the Trade Center Tragedy. Renew their lease, you will be glad you did.
